Selling Your Property - Bathroom Make the best of your bathroom. If you have an old coloured suite, can you change it for a new white one? If you are stuck with an old avocado suite, try to minimise its impact by presenting the rest of the bathroom as clean and functional. If you have children, make sure that their bath toys are hidden away tidily. You could have them all in a box put away in a cupboard and get them out at bath time. Is there enough storage space for the rest of your bathroom bits and pieces? Can you hide away the majority of the toiletries to make the room look cleaner and more inviting? Again, cleaning the bathroom thoroughly is a must, particularly tackling limescale stains. Use the grouting pen here too and re-paint any old-fashioned tiles to update them. Check the sealant around the bath and shower. If it is mouldy, replace it. Open any windows so that there is no evidence of condensation, which could be seen as a problem by buyers. Your bathroom should look spotless to be appealing to buyers The odd lifestyle accessory will help to create a great look that buyers will love - fluffy towels, candles and expensive-looking bath oils will create a lovely ambience.
